"Hail To The Sunrise," the work of Italian-born, New York City sculptor, Joseph Pollia, is a monument to the Five Indian Nations of the Mohawk Trail. The 900-pound bronze casting depicts a Mohawk Indian looking to the east with arms uplifted to the Great Spirit. The memorial includes a pool with 100 inscribed stones from various tribes and councils from throughout the United States.

HISTORIC DEERFIELD

A museum complex of 14 preserved 18th and 19th century historic houses, including a display of decorative and useful objects made from 1650-1850.

MASSACHUSETTS MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART
87 Marshall Street, North Adams
Opened in 1999, this transformed factory complex features 200,000 square feet of art, culture, and performance space, often described as "a cultural factory for the 21st century."

THE STERLING & FRANCINE CLARK ART INSTITUTE
225 South Street, Williamstown
A world-renowned art museum, the Clark is home to outstanding collections of French impressionists, American and Old Master paintings on a stunning 140-acre campus of trails, gardens, and meadows.

A new gallery in the Village that features wildlife photographs and woodworkng, elegant tables, lights, and framed prints.
SEASONAL ACTIVITIES

The Bridge of Flowers, in Shelburne Falls, is a five-arch concrete bridge spanning the Deerfield River. Abandoned by the trolley line in 1928, the bridge was converted to a beautiful garden pathway by Gertrude Newall and the Shelburne Falls Womens Club in 1929. The bridge and garden underwent a half-million-dollar renovation in 1983, including a new design by horticulturist, Carrolle Markle. Truly one of a kind, more than 30,000 people stroll across the bridge each year.

WILLIAMSTOWN THEATRE FESTIVAL
With a renowned company of actors delivering more than 200 performances each summer, this Tony Award-winning festival is a must-see visit on your summer tour of the Berkshires.
WILLIAMSTOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL
Every April, Northern Berkshire hosts a festival featuring the best of jazz with concerts by internationally-known musicians, Williams College faculty & students, dance classes, and more.
MOHAWK TRAILS CONCERTS
Federated Church, Rte. 2, Charlemont
Summer festival in a superb acoustic venue on Fridays & Saturdays in July. Music old & new, Artists from near and far.
OLD DEERFIELD CRAFT FAIRS
Held on the front lawn of Memorial Hall Museum in June and September, each fair features 200+ craft exhibitors with colorful displays and craft demonstrations.
